Dirty Light Switch

Low little whispers, conversations, and innuendos have a life of their own. Whatever spirit of intention, they can make or break a reputation or relationship with just one word. Some people think that they have been no part of the thread of spiritual destruction, but I say you are complicit by mere silence.
Have you ever wondered the truth of a statement in the press and thought to yourself, “Man! I wish they would tell the whole story!” because the little told in the media either did not share all sides or it left things to the imagination? Do you see representations of race or culture in the news and think yours has been totally ignored or put on the bottom of every broadcast? From reporters and anchors, advertisements, people highlighted in the news themes such as business leaders, politicians, shows, music, or sports players your corner of the world is barely mentioned. For many, lately, all they see on their television or devices is constant bombardment about one race of people or another, especially black people. On every news cast, advertisement, show, sports, and even historical events we all know they never participated in. They are even changing history to say that they were original Native American Indians, either Cherokee because their grandmama was full blood or they are original black minques (not ever any real tribe, native, or indigenous persons at all), or that they took part in the making of the Constitution itself. Liars!!! What I want to ask is why haven't you demanded that Native American Indians be given priority visual uplifting intelligent talented gifted representations of what you want as a leader in society? I mean, really, fair is fair.
What really struck home for me is when I saw a news story about the Cherokee Nation and how they are being lifted up in society by its chief. I was excited and expecting to see a true representative of this noble nation speak about the good happening for Natives in the country. To my surprise and horror, I watched with anger as a coal black skinned African woman sitting in a chair surrounded by a chief's accouterments and war weapons with a full chief's headdress on flowing feet around her on the floor explained that she was helping the Cherokee Nation by being their chief because her grandmama was a Cherokee. Bullshit! The reason I say this is because I have former black people I knew for over 45 years (70% black in my international grade school as a child) who all have told me that they, too, are Native American Indians because their grandmama or grandpapa was Cherokee. This is my actual history with this event. They are liars and thieves of indigenous people's history. Not one real indigenous person in history was black or African. None. Where did they come from? My very old stamps say that they began entering the stamps around 1949 to 1950 as they destroyed original stamps and replace them with ones showing pictures of black people. Using my stamps, it is very easy to see that they are aliens who have infested this planet and possibly others.
Oh. But they want YOU to believe it, even as a Native. I went to the Wiki site from a link in my search engine when I was researching about my ancestry. The first time that I visited the page about Ethiopians, there I saw a picture drawing of what real Ethiopians look like. They are white. Then, later, I went back to my search engine to go back to that site and saw another site link that mimicked the other one = two sites = same text exactly alike. What I found on the second site is everything was the same except the picture drawing. It was a black person. It was easy to see how it had been doctored and changed to reflect that black people are the original Ethiopians. They are not. This has been happening all over the internet with everything.
Old-timers or people who have word of mouth history and memories told by elders over and over again know what has been going on. For instance, my full-blood, on-the-roles in Oklahoma, Caddo Nation Grandmother told me much of ancient Native American Indian history, not just of her tribe, but most of them and some you do not even know about. What she told me is the real truth about what happened in the old days before any other people inhabited this landmass. She told me that Natives migrated south in the winter, even the Mohicans, Oneidas, Hurons, Iroquois, and Alaskans. Yes, I said Alaskans. They did not have other tribes telling them that they could not cross their territory boundaries because there weren't any. Yeah, sure, they come to the edge of their territory, look down and stop, "Hey, Sam, we better pull back. Lookee here at the marker line those Washington Redskins told us not to cross. Its right here. I just found it. Quick, look around to see if they are pointing their spears at us while I try to plan our path back to Alaska."
The absolute lies told by "settlers", you know, their historian's version of how tribes interacted with each other in this continent would be laughable if they hadn't committed atrocities and genocide on their mad dash to the gold fields. The truth is that when it began to get cold ALL Natives moved south! Some Alaskans Natives went as far as the Baja peninsula or further. Other tribes only stopped them to ask about the migrations of buffalo, deer, whales, fish, or other wildlife they were hunting or to trade items or for elders to talk about best practices for each other's tribal health. So, all you promoters of lies about MY indigenous heritage can go to hell! I know the truth and so do many Natives who may be understanding now that they have been brainwashed by religious fanatics, lied to about their history and heritage, or may be watered down by intermarriages and just do not want to know the truth. They may also be afraid to speak out about their knowledge of their identity because news and government have hidden or changed everyone's history in an attempt to sweep it under the rug.
You know, there is a book that I collected in my travels that is supposed to be the true story and version of what Native culture and history are in America. I read it from front to back and thought about it for a moment. Then, I remembered what my grandmother told me about certain tribes like the Iroquois and the Algonquin (both my heritage and ancestry). The book said that they were enemies. That is a complete lie. They were not warring tribes, nor did they hate each other. They simply had different chiefs, dress, and hair styles. They used to get together during certain times of the year and games were played, according to my grandmother, that were fun and helped them choose their mates. Let's see. How close are the Iroquois in New York area to the Algonquin in the New Jersey and Virginia areas. Hummm. Oh, yeah, here we are back to that invisible line of territory the white people like to call state lines. There was no such thing back then.
The Alaskans now may or may not remember moving south for the winter, but just think. It gets really cold and all they built, supposedly, were small ice block structures that the whole family were crammed into for extended periods of time without going crazy because it was dark for months, too. Then, there are the wildlife that moved south leaving them to eat...what? Oh, yeah, the whales. Can you imagine what it must have been like to go out into a churning freezing cold ocean in a small fishing boat, spear a whale in the gale, haul it back to shore, then spend countless hours in the dark cutting it up so that by the time they did cut into cookable pieces it was frozen? What do you think really happened? Are you intelligent enough to admit that the Alaskans were told that they must stay in the north for centuries and that many may not have their actual history? After reading this, does it sound logical to you, or are you a descendant of a white non-royal line thief who stole my royal line Native American properties and livelihoods and just do not want other concerned people to know the truth?
I think we should present an equal diversity throughout all media to lift every race of white people (all across the world are actually original Mongolian Basia Asia and Aztec tribes = American Indian), but I also believe in retribution and reparations. You can go to my other website page Native American Indian Heritage Solution for a realistic viable way to repair some of the damage giving my families of natives and tribes back their dignity, culture, and good living conditions. Now, I used to not be a prejudice person at all! I used to turn the other cheek, forgive people their culture of thievery, murder, and mayhem. Now, however, I am a dyed-in-the-wool killer of evil and racist beyond it! But I understand how other races or cultures feel about certain other races because of familial bias. What we should do is to equalize all races at the same time to share each culture as important to the rest of society, but please, in this country, we should lift up the original families above all others with love, support, and compassion for the truth of what happened. Where are the "White" colleges, anyway?
If a person or a friend of a certain race offends you, let me give you a little perspective. There are people who have been prejudice and discriminatory against Native Americans, Jews, throughout their family's history, just as there are against African people or those of Asian descent. This is wrong! All white races in this country should be given recognition and respect if we are to all live together because we all have the good DNA of the original first family, which is me as the firstborn and inheritor of every Goode assets and titles. But it should begin by giving indigenous peoples the advancement and recognition they deserve as originals to this territory. The Native American Indian culture and race are barely a whisper of recognition in their own native lands. No matter the way others in the country try to twist memories to suit non-Native narratives, spin it up a little then out of media, or rewrite indigenous peoples’ history, they will never be able to erase our heritage. There have been some who have the idea that marrying into a tribe gives them more money and this is a qualification for government handouts and business ranking during bid procedures. This is a myth. What little money given by the government to recognized tribal members "on the roles" isn't enough.
My Native ancestry includes very close history as an indigenous people. I am a sixth generation Pocohontas Powhatan on my mother's side, my great grandmother on my mother's side was full-blood Apache, White Mountain tribe, San Carlos reservation people. My full-blood Caddo Grandmother and my father told me that I am Powhatan on his father's side, not just my mother's side (Pocohontas both sides). And ancestry.com explained that my great-grandmother on my father's side was full-blood Cherokee. The Kiowa Indian Agency and the Caddo Nation gave me my grandmother's role numbers and wanted me to declare myself just Caddo, but honestly, I am many, including Sioux and Blackfoot and Iroquois and Algonquin. Soooo, anyway, I could be put on government roles, but the truth is that they already know my heritage. My dad was an Airforce engineer and I have all clearances and worked with the government many years. My ancestry and history are beautiful!
What I want to ask is do you want to change your history elevating Natives out of poverty and exclusion. Even if you are a black person, you have to see how very hypocritical everyone and everything have been when they demand reparations for blacks in this country before giving it to indigenous peoples first. Black people do not need reparations at all because slavery NEVER HAPPENED! Read my article called Reparations to understand as I have researched this theory extensively as I watched the black people attempt to rewrite their history as natives of MY lands and territories.
Further, the real founders of this country are the originals to it. The founding fathers are those who drew up the Constitution, which is a governing document for colonists and immigrants. Colonists and immigrants did not discover America because this territory was already occupied by the original inhabitants. This portrayal that the Natives of this land and their culture is unimportant or not worthy of recognition as owners is, to me and other Natives, outrageous! The spirit of indigenous peoples and of their ancestors' bones in mounds contribute to the very sediment under your feet. The land and the Natives were here long before other races landed on its shores.
OH YEAH, just to let you understand, stop digging up our ancestor's graves and burial mounds! Do you want us to dig up your ancestor's gravesite, too? No? They are important to you? Yes? Our ancestors are important to us, as well. In my old Arkansas school history book, it talks about the Toltec Mounds and how they don't know where those people went to. Idiots! Here I am. If you want to know more about my ancestors, do not dig them up and send their bones to your university archeological society to examine and date (which you have for years). I can tell you from my personal knowledge from my tribes that they have been on this continent and others for thousands of years (50,000 years - carbon dated by the Arkansas State University of course - for my Caddo Nation alone). The tribes used to travel to other continents, too, such as Europe and China. Recently, they discovered ancient Native American Indian bones in, you guessed it, China. Boy! I bet THAT starts a rumor! Of course, we Stone Masons are original Mongolian Chinese and Native American Indians! And, NO, there were never any black Minqua Native Americans! Liar Niggers!
So far, I have heard many others talk about their own history in America and very few have ever mentioned the murders of the indigenous race for solidarity and consideration for any length of time. Some organizations quickly gloss over what happened hoping to sweep it under the rug. This is unfair. We want equality, too!
Most Native Americans understand how other cultures are
confused and misled about what is considered recognized tribe status. Let me further
explain. You do not have to be on the government roles to be recognized as one
hundred percent Native American Indian. The tribal Nations determine each person's history in relation to their tribe. They are their own governing Nations, the Cherokee Nation, the Sioux Nation, the Navajo Nation, and over 530 more tribes in America. You see, a person’s actual history
documentation of lineage is proof enough for the United States government and
other Native Americans. They see my face and know me. Just like that. Of
course, it does help to have parents whose history is well-documented Native
American, especially if they are over one sixteenth blood relation to
well-known tribes like I am.
Some Natives believe that there may be people of other cultures who think they only need marry into Native American bloodlines for inclusiveness or acceptance of money or heritage. But they are wrong. The media, writings, and historians go on and on about how some other races were horribly mistreated and need a leg up in society on every level because of the past, which is fine, but please begin at the beginning. I believe that reparations are needed for Native American Indians because of the past and present racism. I believe that we should first compensate those who are indigenous to this sovereign territory and commonwealths, which is Native American Indians.
Here is a clue that I hope will begin a rumor. In real history, wars and land grabs killed millions of Natives eventually putting them on inhospitable reservations with many in poverty today. Look it up. This is a fact. They proclaimed in the past how they were protecting captive Natives from the rest of society when all the while calling them savages and telling lies and false stories of Native hostilities or horrible warrior atrocities. Geronimo and Fort Sill come to mind. They told everyone that the Natives were "on the warpath", but the real truth is that tribal villages were burned, and people raped, babies killed as they bashed their heads on rocks, in mass murder enough to make the braves go "on the warpath". You would too. Be honest.
If you remember, Natives met foreigners to this land with open arms and kindness. It is only when they started killing off Natives that wars broke out. The rumors by foreigners to rile up one tribe to war against another reminds me of Trumpism and his supporters. I bet you fell for his lies, too. History, indeed, repeats itself. I bet they never told you that part of tribal history, did they? Is it in any of your school text? No? It is what really happened, but it is up to you to care enough to stop them from continuing historical murder by standing up and denouncing THEIR hate speech! Have you heard these past stories in your own family or in the media? Please let everyone know if you have. It may help to dispel horrible lies and rumors.
These past falsehoods and movie or show portrayals of Indians as bad characters must be removed from public view because they influence young people and promote generational racism of Native American Indians and their culture. Not all people or races are discriminatory against Natives, but the culture of hate still lives in some families. This is why we must lift up Natives and indigenous culture in our classrooms. All I am saying is that, as a nation, we need to give indigenous peoples the first opportunity and compensation helping them have better homes, lands, and lives. It is the right thing to do if you are concerned about historical reparations. We are first.
There are multitudes
of old westerns and movies and shows in media that neglect to tell the real truth
about Native American race and culture. They glamorize other racial hardships and their encounters with supposed murderous Indians. They make money from
your acceptance and ignorance about real Natives as you blithely agree with
their portrayals about history. Your eyes stay glued to the series. Native
Americans are used to it. They too sometimes see the shows and snort in
disgust. They quietly cement their heritage and bloodline in the background
knowing the importance of original ancestry.
Real stories about tribes and American Indian history are told by some Natives to counteract historical smear campaigns, watered down versions of what really happened in this country. I hope you will at least give them a moment of your time to listen. What I give readers, as a Native, is my truthful different perspective about the absolute hypocrisy put out there in some old news and shows, or by rumor, about Native character, and history. If you are not Native American Indian, you are an immigrant. If you are against immigrants coming into this country, so are we. Get out! Really. There should be a law against your massive flood of entry into our country. What hypocrites! This I say hoping it gives perspective about how indigenous peoples may view people who are against immigrants that are not indigenous peoples.
Of course, indigenous peoples mostly do not hate other races, but please give recognition that the Trail of Tears is reality and that many thousands died as they were forcibly moved to Oklahoma. Just ask the Cherokee Nation. If you heard the real atrocities such as Indian Braves foot getting cut off so that they could not get away, would you blame the Natives for hating non-indigenous thieves and murderers? Be honest. How about the genocide that occurred of Native tribes as white people killed everyone in their village? This news story was recently a series explaining the Trail of Tears Native American Indian's horrible journey. This is the real truth about what happened in America. We deserve to be lifted above all other races or cultures in our native lands and compensated for what happened to us. Go to my other website page, Native American Indian Heritage Solution, to read about how you can promote and show your love for indigenous peoples of America.
Native American Indians are intelligent, kind, knowledgeable
about nature, and themselves. They are also known to be fearlessly brave. They did not war with each other before settlers got to this land. They met yearly to trade goods with each other, played
games, shared meals, told stories or news by memory. They had no reason to hate
each other. The land did not belong to them, they belonged to the land. They
did not divide it up into sections according to tribal territories become enraged
if another tribe stepped onto it or declare war on another tribe to increase
their territory. All territory of the continent was theirs to explore or
occupy. There are several meeting places you may all not know about in this
country where Natives used to gather, tribal leaders and elders talking about
next year's corn crops or relating news about security, animal migrations, or
hunting prowess.
Most wars that happened after the invasion and occupation in
America were initiated by races and cultures non-Native as they pushed ever westward, especially during the gold rush to California. The stories told about
how Natives began wars is false. The wars were begun as more and more immigrants decided to claim territory not theirs. Let me be clear. If you are not at
least one-sixteenth proven bloodline Native American Indian heritage, you are
not a Native American. You are an immigrant. How can you say immigrants are horrible criminals, yet you are immigrants, too? Indigenous peoples are not
immigrants at all. We belong here. We will always belong no matter the lies,
shows, news, or rumors to the contrary.
If you want to start a rumor about someone else, race, or culture. Start here. But give real facts about your history that others in that culture know to be true. Does it have the ring of truth? Do others in that family know their own history? Mine do not. They know a little more about us than they did because of my diligent research combing through old documentations of our lineage and the ancestry website. My grandmother, a full-blood Caddo Nation Indian, told me many stories about my heritage as we sat on the bank of the river catching catfish. They are fisher people and not warlike at all, not even a little bit. She told of their migrations north and south as the weather turned and how her grandparents told her stories of the past. She told me of my other tribes and their beliefs and traditions too. I listened closely to her because she was my best friend. I used to play at my grandmother’s house meeting relatives who were integrated with other tribes and cultures.
Most never acknowledged that they live on a
reservation. Indeed, they may not even realize it today. They were lied to
about their heritage in order to bury it in time and hoping they would forget
who they are. My father told me more about my history than he did my siblings
because of the rift brought by alcoholism and poverty. They wanted nothing to
do with chaos and domestic abuse and I can’t say I blame them. However, I think
that now they are much more curious as to their ancestry after I told them
about what I had uncovered searching documents proving our
family history. I think I shocked them with news about their importance as
Natives enough that they began to ask a few questions and do a little research
too.
What you may have seen and heard watching your television or in some gatherings is the total denial and lies about Native Americans’ race and culture by some organizations or people. Not everyone in America does this, but some are shocked by recent news about past atrocities by organizations or peoples. It is a well-known fact that the Pope himself recently traveled to Canada to apologize for the Catholic religious leaders in the area in the past taking Native children and putting them into religious schools to indoctrinate them where many died at the school buried on the property. This effort to repair damage done in history is a great start, but there needs to be more done like the Pope proclaimed to help Natives reclaim their ancestry. For as I watched this news story, an elder Indian Native who had attended the Catholic religious prison school for Native children said that he will never forgive the Pope or any religion. What happened is unforgivable to him, most Natives, and to me. The Native Indian children buried in the school graveyard cry out for justice. Justice is on its way. We will not go away, be afraid, or allow you to smooth over the horrors that have happened to us with a word, sorry. It is a shame how some news organization provide very little coverage of Native history, but I hope this documentary showing love from this religious populace will inspire others to do the same. It is a painful history for this country.
Reservations or the Rez is home for many one
hundred percent Native Americans. They have adapted, over time, to the harsh
conditions endured for hundreds of years and protect their Nation within the
Nation with pride and tradition. They serve their country's military with fierce patriotism, such as the Code Talkers. They do not hate immigrants, because of their love of life. They do hate those who persecute indigenous peoples and attempt to rewrite their history with false narratives. They have always been accepting of other
races and cultures who care about theirs. Natives are naturally good
natured. But when you hear stories or rumors that have been embellished with
each telling about how horrible the tribal warriors in history were, include
me. Go ahead and try to spin this perspective to your advantage. You cannot
deny what really happened or hide its effects in history. Native American Indian history is important, too. I won’t let you forget it.
So, what do you do about some news companies or people
who lift up some cultures like black slaves, but fail to include the Native American Indian race?
Do you point out the fact that Native Americans still are in the corner and
should have more news coverage than any other race or cultures to help eliminate systemic racism? Do you point out the fact that most Natives do not live in mansions or drive high-powered paint ponies called Mercedes? Or do you sit
there on the couch, eyes glued to the screen, accepting by your indifference your
own apathetic participation continuing to spread the false rumors
told over and over again on the screen? I'm not saying that all stations do this, but there are still some movies and shows out there that are disturbing to Natives like me.
The rumors can be vicious. They can even have a race of
people, like indigenous peoples questioning their own history. When repeatedly
told you are at fault for your own destruction and that your ancestral beliefs,
connections, and culture are unimportant, it takes warriors to repair the
damage caused by those lies and innuendoes. The power of your voice and pen are
mighty. Going to war by voice, not physical violence, for right and good does not mean you need to physically
riot in the streets. Most times what it takes is for you to stand up to the
hate-crime of any race that occurred and still occurs to this day against the original inhabitants
and owners of this land you love. Be vicious with your truthful words without hate. Use love to conquer the bias. But be on the right
side of history this time. People of any race should give credit and restitution to Natives first, helping sooth their feelings about the false portrayals of Natives in the past and going on right under your nose today.
Native American History month is October 9th because you savage colonist dust-humans did not "discover" America as Columbus Day, we were already here! Lewis and Clark supposedly "discovered" the west coast and the Pacific Ocean in 1805 because they had a Native American Indian Scout and then they asked the native tribes along the way about the "big water" west and were told to "okay, so you turn left at the big rock and take a sharp turn at the huge oak tree and keep going". You say you want equality
and justice. How about simply an all-inclusive college with no proclamation of racial bias connotation at all giving everyone an equal opportunity, especially online entries to college? Begin by removing twisted or false history from books, magazines, and the internet. This is the correct way we should teach our children. Equal means giving every race recognition as important to us all. When
you preach anti-racism, look in the mirror first.
I hope my rumor gets around. There are those who reject
history by replacing it. Try asking a Native elder what they know about their
own ancestry. You may be surprised by the answer. But then, that would require
you to reject rumors, old T.V. shows, and news stories generated by some who would discriminate against Native American Indians. The lies and rumors I have personally heard in my lifetime talked about us are incredible. Do you care?
If you do, then you should tell others how they can be part of a new story. One
that encourages even part Native or the melting pot to come forward with rumors
heard in their own history. Denouncing racism begins with acceptance of the
truth.
Begin your own rumor by commenting blogging below. No foul
language or links. They will be deleted. Provide your own perspective of
personal experience or historical fact that helps people all across the world understand
your side of the story. No matter who you are or where you are from, you are
human spirit and important to the fabric of society. Include as much detail or
reference as you can proving your point. Realize, though, that what comes
around goes around. Someone out there knows the truth, the beginning whisper
that started it all. News, as they say, travels fastest by word of mouth. Speak
your truth to power. I love you, but don't push me. I might start a rumor about YOU.
